Event: HKU Master of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies 2017 Admission

Message from Department of Comparative Literature Event Poster Call for application: The Master of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies (MALCS) 2017 Admission The Master of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies (MALCS) Programme is a postgraduate degree awarded for the satisfactory completion of an advanced study of the key theories and critical approaches to literature, film, and culture. Students will engage in intellectual inquiry through the reading and discussion of a range of academic writing, literary texts, films, and cultural practices. Students are required to complete a core course and 6 elective courses plus a capstone experience. Students are encouraged to pursue either a LITERARY AND CULTURAL STUDIES stream, or a FILM/SCREEN STUDIES stream within the Programme. Students who complete the degree shall be able to undertake independent projects in literary studies, film studies, liberal studies, and in creative arts practices. 2017 Application Deadline: March 7, 2017.
