The Forum for the Humanities and Medicine is an interdisciplinary initiative established in 2008 within the School of Humanities at the University of Hong Kong to bring together scholars, educators, healthcare professionals and others with interests in cultural and historical perspectives on science and medicine.
The Forum actively promotes teaching and research, drawing on a wide range of disciplinary approaches within the Humanities to shed light on the cultural and social contexts of health, illness and medical practice.
The Forum maintains strong collaborative links with the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, an institution at the forefront of global medical education and research. |
