The Forum for the Humanities and Medicine organizes symposia, workshops and lectures, as well as a teaching program as part of the forthcoming Summer Institute in the School of Humanities.
In December 2008 the Forum hosted a symposium entitled Framing Histories in Medicine.

On 27 April 2009 the Forum will host the symposium Beyond the Individual: People, Populations and Genetics.
A Medical Humanities' teaching programme organized in conjuction with the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine is planned for 2010 as part of the Summer Institute in the Arts and Humanities.
The Forum is organizing an international workshop which brings together leading researchers to investigate the ways in which fears of contagion shaped colonial urban planning in Asia during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
